I maintain standard fees for therapy, consultation, and training/facilitation. These fees undergo occasional increases (annual or bi-annual) to adjust for the cost of living. If you want to know my current fee, email me directly. We will also discuss this in our first contact. Given that I maintain some sliding scale spots in my practice, a sliding scale fee may be available. However, this needs to be discussed and mutually agreed to in advance.
A “good faith” estimate of expected annual charges is available upon request. If requested, this would be an estimation of yearly costs based on our agreed-upon fee, projected frequency, and projected length of treatment. Please note that such estimates are not legally or fiscally binding. Rather, they are meant to provide information and support your ability to make informed choices.
Since the scheduling of an appointment reserves time that is then not available to someone else, I require a minimum of 3 days (72 hours) notice for non-emergency cancellations. We will try to reschedule our session if possible. I will try to fill your time. However, if I am not able to fill your scheduled time slot and we are not able to reschedule our session time, 100% of the original fee will be charged.
If you need to contact me between sessions, please email and/or call me and leave a message. I will get back to you within 24 hours.
Appointments last 50 minutes for individuals and 90 minutes for couples/family/extended sessions. Longer or shorter sessions can be arranged as needed. Regardless of whether the client is late or on time, the session ends at the regularly scheduled time, and the client is financially responsible for the full session fee for which they were scheduled. Please do your best to be on time.
There is free, reserved parking for my clients in the Market Hall parking lot (entrance on Shafter Ave.). Otherwise, there is metered, street parking surrounding my building.

If you have any questions about these limits of confidentiality, please ask me for further explanation.
You have the right to receive information about my methods, my recommendations, and my fee structure. You have the right to participate in setting goals, asking questions, and being a full participant in the therapeutic process. You also have the right to terminate services at any time. However, if you should decide to terminate therapy before it is mutually agreed upon, I ask that you consider one final session to “wrap things up. “ Lastly, you always have a right to file a grievance if you feel any of your client rights have been denied.
